Upcoming CanSIA and Partner Events

CanSIA Conferences and Events

As part of CanSIA's role of facilitating and promoting the responsible and sustainable growth of solar energy, the Association regularly hosts the largest and most influential solar industry events across Canada.

At Solar Canada 2014, CanSIA announced a long-term partnership with Hannover Fairs USA (HFUSA), the U.S. subsidiary to Deutsche Messe, to expand and strengthen its annual conference and trade shows.

On June 27, 2019, the Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA) and the Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) announced a joint partnership with Hannover Fairs (Canada) Inc. to create a unique new industry event that is dedicated to exploring the opportunities and challenges for wind energy, solar energy, energy storage, and other complementary technologies. These technologies will play a critical role in transforming Canada to a low carbon economy that makes increasing use of clean, affordable, and reliable renewable electricity.

Advanced Business Match and American Business Match events

ABM is an Indigenous company that connects decision makers to create opportunities for business. They fuse Indigenous business and non-Indigenous business into just: business. At ABM events, Indigenous and non-Indigenous community and business leaders meet potential partners for projects in industries that range from natural resources to construction, tourism services and supply, manufacturing, retail and more, as they look to forge sustainable, prosperous futures.
Events take place on traditional territories in major cities across Canada. They are a highly efficient way to connect commercial interests and drive economic growth. To keep business moving forward while we stay at home to combat COVID-19, ABM has recently created new proprietary software that enables delegates to meet online.

ABM’s results-driven structure makes it hyper-productive. Here’s how it works: ABM ensures their projects and goals are a fit for the tailored ABM Indigenous network. Once registered, ABM delegates prepare potential business matches by reviewing detailed online profiles and selecting appointments with each other. These usually translate into 20-minute meetings that take place face to face on the trade show floor – this year, for some events, those meetings take place online first, and later in person.
