CanSIA & Other Solar Hot Water Installer Courses
Canadian Solar Institute (CSI)
The Canadian Solar Institute is committed to helping establish a nationally accepted training standard for workers in the Canadian solar sector. These standards include an academic accreditation system that monitors, assesses and evaluates the quality of education delivery and a national certification system for solar PV installers.
CSI coffers a 5-Day Solar PV Design and Installation Workshop (Grid-tied) and a 3-Day Off-Grid Solar Design and Installation Workshop. Unlike most other solar PV programs that have simply added Ontario content to a U.S. based curriculum, CSI curriculums have been developed to specifically address Canadian markets.
