2009 Solar Conference
On December 7th and 8th 2009 over 800 delegates gathered in Toronto at the Westin Harbour Castle.
Timed to coincide with the Copenhagen Conference on Climate Change, Solar Conference 2009 focused on where the industry is in Canada.
“We are bringing together key members of the industry from across Canada and around the world to offer our delegates highlights of the programs that affect the solar industry,” said Patty Hargreaves, CanSIA Chair of the Board of Directors.
“The CanSIA Solar Showcase for exhibitors is so popular, that once again – despite expanding our space – we are completely sold out,” said Elizabeth McDonald, CanSIA’s President. “The popularity of this conference is a testament to the opportunities offered through solar, both as a business and as a key to supporting Canada’s commitment to climate change.”
The Canadian Solar Industries Association’s mission is to develop a strong, efficient, ethical and professional Canadian solar industry, able to service an expanding domestic energy market, to provide innovative solar solutions to world energy problems, and to play a major role in promoting the transition to a solar energy future worldwide.
